A third church in the city of Binghamton is the victim of a break-in.

Saint Mary of the Assumption Church on Fayette Street was reportedly entered overnight May 27-28.

May 18th United Presbyterian Church on Chenango Street was broken into and electronics stolen.  A few days later, nearby Landmark Church on Court Street was entered. Again, a few electronics were taken and property damaged.

Police have said it appears the thieves are looking for office electronics. Authorities have not said if they believe all of the incidents are at the hands of the same suspects.

People living around church properties downtown have been advised to keep a watch out for unusual activity and report anything suspicious to police.
