Back on August 3rd, 1968, the number one song on the U.S. singles chart belonged to The Doors.

That song was Hello, I Love You. You'll find it on the album, 'Waiting For The Sun.' Jim Morrison penned the song which was the last tune to reach the number one spot for The Doors. Their other number one song was Light My Fire.

The Doors had seven of their albums crack the top 10 on the U.S. album charts during the late 60s and early 70s. Between 1967 and 1978, nine Doors albums were released.

For this week's Classic Rock PIck, let's look in on Jim, Ray, John and Robby performing Hello, I Love You out on the street along with mini-skirted ladies dancing around them for whatever reason.
