The Buffalo Bills Will Not Play at Home This Weekend

UPDATE: The Bills-Jets contest will be on Monday in Detroit at Ford Field. The game kicks off at 7 pm.

Though the Bills organization stated on Wednesday that their home game scheduled for 1 pm against the Jets would go on as planned, the NFL begs to differ.

The NFL announced today that they are looking for a new venue for the contest and could also move it to Monday. Rightly, the NFL says that public safety comes first.

That echoes what Governor Cuomo said earlier today. He believes holding the Bills game at Ralph Wilson stadium is impractical.

Two venues that were under consideration but now off the table where in Toronto and in Pittsburgh. The Heinz Field is hosting state high school football games. Detroit and Washington, DC are the other 2 options.

The Bills have not practiced this week and game plans and film have been sent to the players digitally.
