It's that time of year again, the Stop DWI Winter Classic will take place today and tomorrow at Binghamton High School and Seton Catholic Central School.

It's not just a tournament of great high school basketball, it's also a chance to heighten the awareness of the deadly consequences of drinking and driving.

Some of the local teams that will be taking part in this year's tournament include; Binghamton High School, Owego Free Academy, Norwich High School, Vestal High School, Seton Catholic Central School, Susquehanna Valley High School, and Unadilla Valley High School. The Cardinal O'Hara Hawks will also be playing in this year's tournament as well. (keep scrolling for more)

The annual Officer Aldo Rossi Jr. Memorial Police Basketball Game will take place as part of the tournament beginning at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Seton Catholic Central. That game features local police officers taking to the hardwood. Tickets for that game are free.

Officer Rossi was killed when he was struck by a drunk driver on Route 7 in Broome County on July 27th, 2008.

Tickets are just $3 for each session. Seniors age 65 and older are admitted free and children 10 and under are also admitted free when accompanied by an adult. You can purchase tickets at the door.
