Endicott Teen Accused in BB Gun-Point Robbery
An 18-year-old is accused of being involved in an incident in Endicott in which an acquaintance was robbed by two males who pointed what appeared to be handguns at him.
Endicott Police Chief Patrick Garey says Osiris Courtney was charged January 31 with felony robbery in connection with the incident that happened inside a Washington Avenue building. Garey says Courtney knew the victim.
The 23-year-old man said the two suspects stole a cell phone and wallet.
Courtney was arrested without incident while walking on Oak Hill Avenue in the Village.
Detectives say they seized a BB gun belonging to Courtney during the course of their investigation, which is continuing.
Police say more arrests are pending.
