There is a lot of exciting things happening at Otsiningo Park. Spiediefest will be back this weekend after a year off because of the pandemic. However, we don't need to wait till Friday to check out the sights.

Right now, the 2021 Broome County Parks Scarecrow Contest & Display is happening at Otsiningo Park. Many different organizations have entered this contest including Catholic Charities of Broome County, Faith in Action Volunteers, The Discovery Center along with various Fire Companies, Girl Scout Troops, and many more.

In all, there are 45 scarecrows waiting to see you. Picnic in the Park with Sammy the squirrel and Randy Rabbit is just the beginning. Okay, I gave them those names but it seems to fit

I have to admit "Alice in Otsiningo" and "Spread Kindness Like Confetti" caught my attention. My daughter, Tara is a Minecrafter so "Minecraft Rainbow Scarecrow" would be one of her choices.
