Police in Owego say a huge cooperative effort is behind a successful rescue from the Susquehanna River as a fun morning of fishing goes wrong.

Broome County Emergency Services officials say two men in an aluminum boat had to be rescued when their craft became stuck on rocks at the Whitney Point Dam.
