As the number of Covid cases starts to rise again, federal health officials are advising people in sections of New York state to resume wearing masks while indoors.

A few counties in the Southern Tier: Chenango, Delaware and Tioga Counties over the past week even had a day with no new cases reported.

School districts around the region have been updating their web pages now the New York State Health Department says masks are required in school buildings.
