Eight years after Governor Andrew Cuomo unveiled plans for a lithium-ion battery plant in Endicott, the name of the company has been unceremoniously taken down.

The new owners of the old IBM manufacturing complex in Endicott are working to spruce up the sprawling property on the North Side of the village.

Demolition crews are busy clearing space at Endicott's Huron Campus for a lithium-ion battery production facility.
