At years end, no matter which one, we tend to focus on the negative. So, naturally, we start the new year that way. This morning I saw a post on Facebook that is being passed around that could change that.

Thanks to steamykitchen.com's Memory Jar, we can remember all  the good things from 2013 when the ball drops on January 1st.

All you have to do is use an empty glass jar, decorate it (optional), place it somewhere
easy to get to, and add a note to it every time something good happens in 2013. These notes can contain little moments or big ones. To me, the little ones add up more!

A twist: add pictures or mementos if you want.

On December 31st, empty it and read about all the good things that happened. That's the way to have a great New Year!
