Should Florists Be Allowed to Jack Up Prices for Valentine’s Day

Now, I know you are all thinking, oh course florists shouldn't jack up the prices of flowers near Valentine's Day! However, if we all expect to get deals on Black Friday and all anticipate that certain items and toys will be more expensive around the holidays then I suppose this way of thinking is not fair.

Is it wrong? Probably but since we have allowed other areas of commerce the same privilege, I think it is only fair we let florists slide during this time of the year. You will feel bad and pay $20 more for flowers for me during this time of year because I am worth it! Shame on you for yelling at my friend Sherry who works at a local florist shop or anyone else!

Bottom line guys, you are S.O.L. You do know, if you don't buy your wife flowers on Valentine's Day, no matter what she says, she will care. Which means you will be in the doghouse = you do not get laid. To save yourself the trouble and frustration, I'm thinking paying $10-$15 more than usual on flowers, may not be such a bad idea. I'm sorry and you are welcome for the advice at the same time.
