Two of New York State's football powers collide at Spartan Stadium in Endwell on Saturday afternoon when the Chenango Forks Blue Devils visit Maine-Endwell at 1:30 PM.  It is Homecoming for Maine-Endwell.  The game will be broadcast live on News Radio 1290 WNBF beginning at 1:20 PM.

Heading into Saturday's game Chenango Forks is 3-0 while Maine-
Endwell is 2-1.  Both have powerful offenses.  Fullback Lucas Scott is the work horse ball carrier for the Blue Devils.  He is a bull, listed at 6'4" and 255 pounds and often carries a couple of defenders with him until a third or fourth defender arrives to help.

Ryan Brozovic keys the Spartan attack while Michael Mancini augments his explosiveness with speed to burn as well.  Mancini scored three touchdowns in last weekend's victory over Waverly..

Both teams are led by veteran coaches with great tradition.  Matt Gallagher leads the Spartans.  He has been M-E's head coach since 2008 and has a record of 106-19.  Dave Hogan has been the head coach at "The Forks" since 2008 as well.  His record since then is 118-14.

In the latest New York State Sports Writer's Association rankings in Class "B" play the Blue Devils are second while the Spartans are ranked number 12. Fans are reminded that the Homecoming parade will block off a portion of Hooper Road that leads to the football stadium prior to kickoff.
