Sandy Hook Shooting: Time For It To Stop

WOW........

I just don't know where to begin. Another senseless mass shooting. But truly, are there any other kind? What a waste. What do you do? What do we, as announcers on our radio show do?

I don't have a single answer.

We cannot, out of respect for the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, do what we normally do. At least, not today. Tomorrow maybe? But not today.

A 20-year-old killer, carrying two handguns, committed suicide at the school, after allegedly killing his mother in her pajamas at home, bringing the toll to 28.

27 victims? Or was there 28 including the shooter? As far as I am concerned, and for right now, there are 27.  I just cannot put the shooter in with that group of innocent people who's lives he ended abruptly, and with malice.

I am mad..... I am angry that these kinds of things keep happening. We need to find an answer. Elected officials...  we pay you to keep the public safe and we pay you to fix things when they are broken. And we have a BIG BAG OF BROKEN here!

It's time for our politicians to stop being politicians and start thinking like Moms and Dads! So get together and fix It! Our children's lives depend on it!
