The Binghamton Rumble Ponies finished their 2019 season at NYSEG Stadium on Monday afternoon with a 4-3 victory over the Hartford Yard Goats. The Labor Day holiday afternoon contest ended the season for both teams.

Mickey Jannis upped his record to 7-5 as he went 6.2 innings to earn the win. It was Fan Appreciation Day with discount refreshments and concessions throughout the game.

The Rumble Ponies finished with an overall record of 67-73 and went 32-44 in the second half of the season.  Binghamton took three out of four games in the series against the Yard Goats.  Overall, Binghamton finished with a record of 5-8 against the Hartford this season.

Fans will have to wait til the season opener next April to see the Binghamton Rumble Ponies again.  Binghamton opens the 2020 season at home on Thursday, April 9 at 6:35 PM against the Akron RubberDucks at NYSEG Stadium.  A big highlight of the 2020 season will be the Eastern League All-Star Game.  Festivities are scheduled for July 13-15.
