Rock Bands Snubbed Weekend
What? That's probably the reaction to the title of this blog.
Let me explain. We (and probably you too) get a bit upset every year the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame comes out with their nominations for the next year.
While some excellent rock bands and artists get nominated and inducted each year, some of the not so rock-type artists and bands get the nod, and it gets us to scratching our heads wondering when in the hell did these musicians become classified as 'Rock?'
What about those many, many rock bands and artists who SHOULD be nominated, but never seem to get that nod, even though they've been around long enough, and are certainly deserving of their place in the Hall of Fame!
So, 99.1 The Whale is honoring those ROCK bands and artists throughout the weekend with hourly double-shots of their most excellent tunes.
