Tonight at NYSEG Stadium, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, in their inaugural season, will try and capture Binghamton's fourth AA Championship and second in three years.

I remember that date back in September 2014 when the then Binghamton Mets won with a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth inning. It was so cool to see them win the championship at home. This year they will face the Trenton Thunder in the best-of- five series with games one and two tonight and tomorrow at NYSEG Stadium. The future stars of the Mets will face off against the future stars of the Yankees. It's the Double A version of the Subway Series, playoff edition. Trenton finished the regular season with the best record so it will be no easy task for our Rumble Ponies, but they are coming off an eight-game winning streak. They're playing great baseball at the right time.

Tickets are still available for Wednesday and Thursdays games. Get out and support the Rumble Ponies as they try and bring another championship to Binghamton. The festivities start with a pre-game party at The Colonial on Court Street followed by a parade down to NYSEG Stadium.

Are you ready to rumble?
