A who's who of classic rock legends are set to join forces for one of most anticipated shared bills in history, Billboard reports. Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, the Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Roger Waters and the Who are among those who've been mentioned for a new Goldenvoice Entertainment-produced festival at the Coachella site in Indio, Calif. Shows would take place in October, according to the Los Angeles Times.

At this point, the event apparently would have a three-day run, with Dylan and the Stones on Oct. 7, McCartney and Young on Oct. 8, and Waters and the Who on Oct. 9, the festival's final night. A second weekend is in the discussion phase, Billboard says. Each participating act could reportedly be guaranteed as much as $7 million each.

"It’s so special in so many ways because you won’t get a chance to see a bill like this, perhaps ever again," Elliot Roberts, Young’s longtime manager, told the Times. "It’s a show I look forward to more than any show in a long time."

Goldenvoice already oversees Coachella, the company’s flagship event, at the same Empire Polo Field site. That festival kicks off today (April 15), and continues through next weekend, with reunion shows by Guns N' Roses as a highlight. After that, Goldenvoice presents the country music-themed Stagecoach festival beginning on April 29. Just last week, the same Los Angeles-based concert promoter was given approval from Pasadena officials to host a multi-day event to be held in conjunction with the Rose Bowl in 2017.
