A man on parole for a drug conviction faces several felony counts after police confiscated cocaine when they executed a search warrant in Binghamton.

Authorities say 41-year-old Abram LLanos of Robert Street was arrested Thursday morning.

Police searched a unit in Building 20 of the Town & Country apartment complex on the city's North Side.

Investigators say some cocaine and about $200 in suspected drug sale proceeds were seized in the raid.

Llanos was charged with five counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Police say he also was issued a state parole violation warrant.

New York prison records indicate Llanos is on parole through February 2021. He was released from the Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora last February after serving time for a drug-related conviction.
