
Owego Police Close Books on Fatal Train/Pedestrian Collision
Village of Owego Police are closing the case of a teenage boy who was hit and killed by a train on May 1st.

Police say their investigation has determined 17-year-old Kyle Davis’ death was accidental.
Davis was walking eastbound on the south side of the railroad tracks at South Depot Street near State Street at 2:55 p.m. when he was hit by an eastbound Norfolk Southern train. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
