Memorial Day weekend is upon us and I have a lot of things I want to do this weekend, and a couple of things I really don't want to do.

Let start with the things I'm looking forward to. Every Memorial Day Chris and I go to the Memorial Day Parade in Endicott and then we go to Memorial Park for the service that's held there every year to remember our lost men and women of the military. This weekend we plan on doing that as well as a bunch of other things.

Saturday night we're going to see Mudfest out at Tags in Big Flats. Sunday we are going out for brunch with a bunch of our friends and then one of my sisters and her husband are planning on coming up from the Scranton area for a visit. They might be spending the night, but that part is still up in the air.

Monday afternoon we also have to make up  one of the rounds in our golf league that was rained out two weeks ago.

Besides all that, Chris and I have started a landscaping project at our house. She planted a bunch of plants and wanted to put a walkway going through them. We started this last week and are hoping to get some of it done this weekend. This is the thing I'm not looking forward to doing.

I'm sure once it's done it'll be nice and I will have that feeling of accomplishment every time I look at it, but it's a lot of back-breaking work that I don't really enjoy doing.

Other than that my lawn needs to be mowed, edged, and weed whacked so I'm sure I will be doing all that this weekend as well.

I hope you have a great Memorial Day weekend planned, and I hope that you only have to do things you enjoy doing.
