Inside Out NetWork, a new mentoring and coaching program for recovering addicts is featured on the November 11 edition of the weekly, local public affairs program Southern Tier Close Up.

Inside Out NetWork founder, Rev. LuAnn Natyshak talks about her inspiration in ministering to women in jail and supporting their struggles to beat addictions following release.  Natyshak says it's been shown that faith-based programs have greater success rates.

The Reverend also touches on plans to open a recovery and treatment center at the former Broome Developmental Center.  She says she has personally encountered the problem with a lack of beds for those struggling with addiction with one woman going through a difficult withdrawal for hours in Natyshak's car since there were no available beds in current addiction treatment and recovery facilities.

Inside Out Network has evolved to the point of offering programs at four area churches and daily recovery programs on week days.

More information can be found on the Inside/Out NetWork facebook page.

Southern Tier Close Up is heard Saturdays at 12:10 p.m. on News Radio 1290 WNBF.
