My Choice for the Zeppelin Dream Team

Jimmy Page just made a candid remark saying quote ”Maybe I could just go out on my own then and call myself Led Zeppelin.” (click here for story)

The remark comes from Jimmy’s frustration with trying to get Robert Plant to do another reunion show and headlining U.K.’s massive Glastonbury Festival.

Jimmy Page does not sing, play drums, or keys for that matter, so who would go on stage with him to do a reunion show? Who would you choose as your Zepp Dream Team?

I have a few choices on who I would love to see on the stage.

Bass Guitar: John Paul Jones would be switching from Keys to Bass but he could use some help, how about Sting? Or Flea from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, possibly Billy Sheehan .

Keyboards: Again John Paul Jones would be switching from Bass to Keys, but I’d love to see Rick Wakemen or Keith Emerson.

Drums: Jason Bonham son of the one and only Bonzo has had the honor many times but I would lover to see Neil Peart keeping the beat.

Vocals, that’s a tough one, but how about Geddy Lee? Most of the veteran rockers have blown out there voices but Geddy seems to be doing ok, maybe even Sammy Hagar, Sting? Anyone of those guys can play instruments too, so they would add versatility.
