Normally, I do not like to talk about anything political. There are several topics I do feel strongly about but they are controversial so I try not to bring them up in conversation because I consider it rude socially to talk to people about such things unless you really know each other. I saw this article on the Internet Wednesday and being an American, I must say that this really bothered me. They are building a museum where the Twin Towers used to be and apparently are keeping some remains of victims underneath this museum. This strikes me as completely disgusting and appalling. This musuem is supposed to be a memorial in a sense to all those that passed away on September 11th, 2001 and by keeping the bones of the deceased, unidentified men and women of this country beneath the monument, that almost says; "Eh, we don't feel like moving them to a proper burial ground so I guess we'll just leave em there." It amazes me that this was/is even being considered. It is embarrassing and disrespectful. Don't worry, you don't need to expect political rants and such from me on a normal basis, I just wanted to draw some attention to this depressing news. Do you think this is wrong and disrespectful? Am I overreacting?
