Murder/ Suicide Investigation Near Scranton

Pennsylvania State police are investigating an apparent murder/ suicide about an hour south of Binghamton.

Authorities say 58-year-old Barbara Naumann of Dunmore and 68-year-old Robert Bowen III of Clark Summit were found dead at a home in Ransom Township in Lackawanna County November 7.

State police are providing little information other than that the couple apparently died sometime between 5 p.m. November 6 and 12 a.m. November 7.

The bodies were found at a home on Ransom Road, about 64 miles south of Binghamton and only a few miles west of Scranton.

Troopers did not say how the couple had died.
