Minnesota Vikings Star Adrian Peterson Indicted for Child Injury

TMZ has done it again. They have scooped the sports world on a big story.

TMZ Sports and other outlets, are reporting that Minnesota Viking star running back, Adrian Peterson, has been indicted in Montgomery County, Texas for reckless or negligent injury to a child. Word is it has to do with disciplining his child with a switch.

From what I have read, this was an ongoing inquiry and Peterson met with law  enforcement previously. I won't judge this one until the case closes.

On the surface, this is the latest black eye for the NFL which had to deal with the Ray Rice domestic violence case, a controversial penalty handed down by the league and questions about what the league knew about the case and when.

Adrian Peterson lost his 2 year old son last year after the child died at the hands of an abuser, the boyfriend of the child's mother. Peterson had discovered the child was his shortly before the boy's death.
