Michael Vick Gets a Dog

Not sure I really want to touch on this subject since I am a huge animal lover (I have 2 amazing Greyhounds and also foster), but this is in the news, and is now a topic of discussion.

According to a report  from Huffington.com, Michael Vick has confirmed that he owns a dog.

You recall, he spent almost 2 years in prison for his role in a brutal dog-fighting ring.

Vick said Thursday “I understand the strong emotions by some people about our family’s decision to care for a pet. As a father, it is important to make sure my children develop a healthy relationship with animals.”

So with that said, should he have been allowed to own a pet for his family sake?
