Man Saves Hummingbird From Chewing Gum’s Grasp [VIDEO]

Until I saw this video, I never thought about how some things we humans do can accidentally harm animals.

I knew all too well about fishing line, netting, six pack plastic holders, ziploc bags and things like that, but it never dawned on me that something like gum could endanger a bird.

Then again, if you've ever stepped in gum, you know how adhesive it is. Imagine a sweet hummingbird flitting around, landing in the grass for a rest and getting ensnared in gum.

I learned my lesson.
