Man Hurt in Binghamton Stabbing Incident
A man was injured in an afternoon stabbing incident in Binghamton.
City police were called to Robinson Street around 3 p.m. Tuesday following a reported altercation involving at least two people.
A man who sustained facial lacerations reportedly was located by officers in a second-floor apartment at 21 Robinson Street.
Blood could be seen on the sidewalk east of that building. Police placed yellow crime scene tape around a second Robinson Street residence.
The injured man was taken to Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City for treatment.
Police were said to be looking for a man for questioning in connection with the incident. He apparently left the scene in a car.
A woman who resides on the block where the attack occurred said she was shocked by the daytime assault so close to her home.
