It's hard to believe it's Memorial Day Weekend already but it is. The 3-day weekend that I'm looking forward to... just because it's a 3-day weekend. Chris and I tried to set up a family reunion at one of The Binghamton Rumble Ponies games this weekend. We wanted to have my family come up for at a game. We decided we would try and pick a date first before we told everyone in the family about it, but it became evident pretty quickly that it wasn't going to pan out. Everybody had something going on at least one of the days this weekend so we couldn't pick one game for all of us to go to. I'm sure Chris and I will make it to one of the four games this weekend.

We're also doing up the Memorial Day Weekend Classic Rock 500 here on The Whale, and I'll be on the air for that both Saturday and Monday. Sunday, it's looking like we will be heading down to Mansfield to help get Ian's stuff out of his apartment and bring it back to Endicott. He's lived off-campus for his last two years of college so it might take more than one trip to get everything back. I guess we'll see.

Other than that, I'm looking forward to getting some yard work done over the weekend because there's always more to do when it comes to the yard. At some point over the weekend, I would love to get the fire pit going and relax and sit around that with Chris, and maybe a few friends, and enjoy some cold beers. Monday morning after I get off the air I'll be heading over to Endicott for their Memorial Day Service. Chris and I go every year. It's a very touching tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. I get choked up every year when they start playing 'Taps'.

Whatever you're doing this weekend, I hope you have a great one. Be careful, don't drink and drive, and Happy Memorial Day!
