Lourdes says, on April 5, CaptureRx reported a subset of files containing patient information had been extracted from their system but had been retrieved and no copies were retained by the perpetrator. Ascension Lourdes has notified affected individuals.

Lourdes says CaptureRx noticed unusual activity on their system on February 11 and started an investigation.  Eight days later, the company determined certain files containing Lourdes Hospital patient information had been pulled out of the system that included full names, dates of birth, prescription information (including the prescription number), drug information, prescriber name, date written and insurance information.  The company assured Ascension no sensitive information like social security numbers or insurance identification numbers were affected.
