Long-Time Owego Town Justice Passes Away

A former member of the Tioga County Sheriff’s Department and long-time Justice for the Town of Owego has passed away.

The Honorable Robert Henning died April 26.

According to the published announcement, Henning, a native of Endicott, had been a Deputy Sheriff in Tioga County and the Town Justice in Owego for 20 years. He was a member of the Master Masons, Scottish Rite and Kalurah Shrine.

Family will receive friends April 30 at the Allen Memorial Home on East Main Street Endicott from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. A Masonic Service is to be held at 10:15.
