Join Us at This Year’s Parlor City Oktoberfest!

Parlor City Oktoberfest is Saturday, October 14th from 11 am to 8 pm at Mountain Top Grove, 539 Hance Rd in Vestal, and is a family-friendly event!

Parlor City’s Oktoberfest will include:

• A 9-hour celebration
• Authentic German foods and desserts available for purchase
• Entertainment and live performances: John Steven's Doubleshot Polka Band, Accordionist, Czechoslovak Moravan Club Dancers, Special Guests, Children’s Entertainers and More!
• Oktoberfest Themed Contests - Miss Oktoberfest - Best Dressed - Stein Holding (see details below)
• Designated Children’s Activity Area
• A German-themed Open Air Photo Booth
• Live Merchandise Screen-printing
• Beverages and Pastries from Strange Brew for purchase
• Craft beers available for purchase
• Vendor Booths to Shop
• Broome County Humane Society featuring some adoptable dogs/puppies.

Parlor City Oktoberfest tickets can be purchased for $10 in person at Townsquare Media - 59 Court Street, Binghamton, and at Mountain Top Grove. You can also order your tickets online for $11 by clicking on the lovely blue button below. Tickets admit entry into the festival. Food, drinks, and alcohol are available for purchase.

Keep in mind that there aren’t any ATM machines at Mountain Top Grove, so be sure to bring cash with you!

• Miss Oktoberfest!
  To enter:
• You must be 21 or older and register no later than 2pm on Saturday, October 14th during our Parlor City Oktoberfest.
• 15 names will be randomly selected out of a pool of names in a hat.
• Those 15 contestants will participate in a contest – Details TBD – The top 6 will move onto the next round.
• Those top 6 contestants will then go on stage in front of the panel of judges, (and judged on best costume, best hair, and best Chicken Dance.
• Three finalists will move onto the final round.
• The winner will be chosen by crowd participation – the loudest cheers from the crowd.
• The winner of Miss Oktoberfest will receive a sash, a crown, a bouquet of flowers, 4 clambake tickets for 2018, an opportunity for an in-studio interview and feature on the station of her choosing, and the opportunity to walk with Townsquare Media in all of the local parades as Parlor City Miss Oktoberfest 2017.
• One runner-up contestant and 3^rd place contestants will receive a rose each, Oktoberfest beads and 2 clambake tickets.

        Best Dressed Contest
To enter:

• You must be 21 or older.
• Interested attendees need to sign up to participate no later than 2pm on Saturday, October 14th during our Parlor City Oktoberfest.
• Male and Female best dressed will be chosen by Miss Oktoberfest.
• Each winner will receive 2 clambake tickets for 2018, Oktoberfest Beads and Beer Hats.

        Stein Holding Contest
To enter:

• You must be 21 or older to enter.
• 10 people will be randomly selected for each contest to participate.
• Each winner will receive Oktoberfest beads, Oktoberfest hat, and the opportunity to be on the Miss Oktoberfest judging panel!
