Johnson City Police Investigate Stabbing Near Wilson Hospital
Authorities say a man was stabbed a few blocks from Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City.
The 26-year-old village resident was transported to the hospital for treatment of two stab wounds.
Police say the incident was reported around 10:45 p.m. Monday. Investigators say the man was attacked near the railroad tracks south of the intersection of Corliss Avenue and Allen Street.
A detective said he believed the man was treated and released.
Investigators were working to determine the circumstances surrounding the stabbing. It was not immediately known what type of weapon was used.
No arrests have been made in connection with the attack. Police have not said whether the suspect in the stabbing is a man or a woman.
