Johnson City police say a village resident faces a felony charge following a physical domestic dispute.

Authorities were called to a Crocker Avenue residence around 10:45 p.m. Wednesday to investigate a fight.

Officials say 57-year-old Steven Blank was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree harassment.

According to police, Blank was accused of being at his former partner's residence and punching him in the head.

Blank was accused of violating an order of protection that had been issued in September. The order directed him to stay away from his former partner's residence and to not harass him in any way.

Blank was arraigned and sent to Broome County Jail.
