He is the only Binghamton player this year to go at least 6.0 innings in back-to-back outings.
Right-hander Cade Smith matched a career high of 7.0 innings pitched that he set on May 23, 2024, with Single-A Tampa. Smith did not allow a run and just surrendered three hits while striking out five.

Binghamton dropped its third straight game against the Patriots on Thursday, 3-1.
New York Mets right-hander Kodai Senga made his fourth rehab start of the season and his first with Double-A Binghamton tonight against Somerset. He pulled in a quality start with 6.0 innings pitched, allowing just one hit and one run while punching out five batters. The 33-year-old threw 75 pitches, 51 of them being strikes.
The 6.0 innings pitched tie a season high that Senga set with the Mets on March 31 against the St. Louis Cardinals. The go-to pitch for Senga is the “ghost fork,” and he used that pitch on four of his five strikeouts.
Chris Suero hit his ninth home run, tying a team lead with Nick Lorusso.

In the bottom of the ninth inning, right-hander Brian Metoyer recorded the save. He threw 34 pitches and stranded the potential-tying run on second base after a run scored on a wild pitch that made it 7-5. Metoyer recorded his fourth save of the season.
Chase Hampton made his first Double-A start since August 10, 2024, against Binghamton. Third baseman Nick Lorusso roped a two-run double to make it 2-0 Rumble Ponies. He now has 26 RBIs on the year.

JT Schwartz chalked up his sixth multi-hit game, and Vincent Perozo belted out his fifth homer on Saturday.

Binghamton lost the series finale as Somerset walked it off in the 10th inning to win 7-6. The Patriots took the series five games to one and finished the year 11-7 against Binghamton, as the two teams will not play in the second half of the season.
