Pennsylvania State Police are asking for help in finding a missing child.

Authorities in the Towanda barracks early Wednsday, September 21 confirmed they were still looking for 11-year-old Jaelyn Michelle Oakley, who was last seen at around 7 in the evening of, Tuesday, September 20, in Monroe Township in Bradford County.

The girl is white with shoulder-length brown hair. She stands around five feet tall and weighs around 135 pounds.

The 11-year-old, born on June 22, 2011, has blue eyes and was last seen wearing a brown t-shirt, grey shorts, grey shoes, blue glasses and had a blue sweatshirt around her waist.

The girl was reported missing at around 8 p.m. from a home on Birdsall Road.

Anyone with information is asked to call State Police at 570-265-2186.

The news release and information available from a call to the Towanda barracks this morning have no provided any information regarding any medical issues or safety issues that may be of concern with the missing child.

There also has been no information about possible associates or connections to areas around or outside of Bradford County or northeast Pennsylvania.
