This festive community event will begin at 4:00 p.m. and will feature live music, holiday activities, food, and drinks.

"I’m inviting all community members to come downtown this weekend to celebrate the start of the holiday season and Small Business Saturday with our annual tree lighting celebration," said Mayor Jared M. Kraham.

Mayor Kraham also noted the significance of shopping small and supporting local businesses during the holidays. "For every dollar spent at a small business in Binghamton, an average of 67 cents stays in the community. This Small Business Saturday, we are excited to welcome you downtown to shop, eat and enjoy all the City of Binghamton has to offer during the holiday season.”

The celebration will be filled with a lively lineup of live music, with Rick Pedro slated to perform from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by Thomas Westcott & Friends from 5:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The tree lighting will take place at 6:45 p.m., wrapping up the festivities.

Additionally, several Binghamton businesses will be offering discounts and holding events in honor of Small Business Saturday. For more information on local offerings, visit the City of Binghamton Department of Economic Development’s Facebook page

Parking will be available at the Hawley Street Garage at 7 Hawley St., and the parking lot at 69 Collier St. Street parking will also be available in designated areas.
