Endicott Man Charged in Fatal Shooting Near Binghamton Stadium
A suspect has been arrested in connection with the killing of a man in a drive-by shooting just west of Binghamton's baseball stadium.
Authorities said 21-year-old Joziah Worthington of Endicott has been indicted by a Broome County grand jury on charges of murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Binghamton police on Tuesday afternoon announced Worthington's arrest in connection with last winter's shooting that resulted in the death of 20-year-old Qualyn Terry.
Several gunshots were heard near Mirabito Stadium around 5 p.m. on February 9. Police said Terry had been driving a car on Lewis Street when he was shot. The vehicle struck a utility pole and came to a stop on Fayette Street, just a few yards from a stadium entrance.
