An Endicott man is facing a long list of charges after authorities say they found he was wanted by law enforcement on both sides of the New York/Pennsylvania border.

Broome County Sheriff’s officials say they arrested 37-year-old Matthew McCloe September 13 in connection with a vehicle pursuit on August 31.

According to the Sheriff’s office, members of the Patrol Division developed information concerning where McCloe may be and started a surveillance detail.

Authorities say they were well-acquainted with McCloe and claim he has a habit of not complying with police and evading law enforcement officials.

On Tuesday afternoon, the subject was seen and positively identified as he got out of his vehicle and the surveillance team were able to surround him and take him into custody.

Sheriff’s officials say they found McCloe had several fake identification cards and a fictitious pistol permit in his possession. He also had a fake license plate stuck on the back of his vehicle.  Authorities say the vehicle was unregistered, uninsured and they towed it from the scene.
