Apalachin Dispute: A Woman is Dead and a Man is Hospitalized
Authorities say a woman had died as the result of injuries sustained in a domestic dispute at a Tioga County home.
According to state police, troopers were sent to 10 Debra Lee Drive in Apalachin just before 4 a.m. Monday for a reported dispute.
A news release indicates police and medics provided assistance to a man and a woman who were injured in the incident.
The woman died and the man was taken to Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City. He was reported in stable condition.
Members of the state police Bureau of Criminal Investigation continued to process the scene and remove potential evidence late Monday afternoon.
State police released no names or other information about the dispute.
