Mother's Day is Sunday and being a mom isn't easy. I've said this many times, "If being a mom was easy then dad's would do it." We've all gotten advice from our mom but imagine being a famous person's mom before they were famous.

I'm sure there advice went something like this:

Paul Revere's Mother: I don't care where you think you have to go. Midnight is past your curfew!

Humpty Dumpty's Mother: Humpty, if I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times. Don't sit on the wall. Did you listen to me? Noooo!

Albert Einstein's Mother: Albert, it's your senior picture. Can't you do anything about your hair? Gel, mousse. How about a hat?

George Washington's Mother: The next time I catch you throwing money across the Potomac, no more allowance for you!

Superman's Mother: Clark, your dad and I have decided to get you your own phone. Now will you quit going into the phone booths all the time?

I'm not famous but my Mom, Donna gave me a lot of great advice including: Pray, read your Bible and trust in God. So what piece of advice did I listen to as a kid???

Don't date just one woman. So after I listened to her advice, she amended it to,  "When I said not to date one, I didn't mean to date them all." Well mom, I don't anymore.

I love you, Mom and Happy Mother's Day

Bible Verses That Will Bless Mom This Mother's Day

Mother's Day is a special day to honor the women who raised us. And while moms should be celebrated every day of the year, this is a day to put the focus entirely on these wonderful ladies.

Throughout scripture, women are celebrated for their bravery, their love and their steadfast nature. A few books like Ruth and Esther are dedicated to women, while an entire chapter of Proverbs praises mothers who care for their household.

We've rounded up 20 Bible verses that are sure to bless mom on Mother's Day.
