Join The Fun At This Year’s Super Cooper Golf Tournament
It's almost here and it's not too late. Saturday, August 16th is the 4th annual Super Cooper golf tournament hosted by the Super Cooper Saves The Day. They are a 501c3 organization created in memory and honor of Cooper Busch and strive to spread happiness in Cooper's memory. Super Cooper aides those impacted by childhood cancer and other hardships in and around the Binghamton, NY area.
This year’s golf tournament will be held at Geneganslet golf course. It’s captain and crew style with a $400 entry fee per team. That entry gets you 18 holes of golf, prizes, basket raffles, snacks and a chicken bbq dinner at the end of play. Registration starts at 9 a.m. with a 10 a.m. shotgun start, so get your team registered here
If golfing isn’t your thing, there are other ways to help. Tara Busch, Cooper’s mom, is looking for basket raffle donations, for details on how to donate go here.
Supper Copper Saves The Day Mission
Some of the things that Super Cooper Saves The Day have done in our community is build a handicapped accessible playground at the Chenango Bridge Civic Park. The park just celebrated it’s 5th birthday. (That’s one more birthday than Cooper had)
They host a free Cooperpalooza Carnival at Touch of Texas that is fun for kids and families at no charge. Every year to honor Cooper’s birthday in November, they host a Christmas toy drive to support the kids at Golisano Children’s Hospital in Syracuse. Last year, they were able to include 100 $100 visa cards to pediatric cancer patients and their families as part of their toy drive!

I like getting behind causes that do so much good because they are a great reminder to live life to the fullest and appreciate every moment you have with loved ones. No one is promised tomorrow and Cooper had less than five years on this earth but his legacy lives on through Super Cooper Saves The Day.
His life may have been short but he will leave a lasting impact on countless lives, not just those who were lucky enough to have known him but those who will be blessed by the generosity of others supporting this organization.
