According to Risas Dental, New York clinches the 4th spot in the U.S. smile confidence ratings, with an average score of 7.27 out of 10. Surprisingly, 26% of residents rate their smile a perfect 10 when asked about their confidence level.

Let's see how New Yorkers feel about their smiles on a 1-10 scale. Only 3% of residents of the Empire State don't feel confident at all, while 4% land at level 2. We've got 5% at level 3, another 5% at level 4, and 6% holding it down at level 5.

Things start looking up with 8% at level 6 and 17% rocking it at level 7. Riding the confidence wave, 14% are at level 8, with 12% feeling pretty good at level 9. This is the best part, an incredible 26% are all in, feeling very confident with a perfect 10 smile rating.
Gender Standoff: Who Grins the Widest?
When it comes to confident smiles, the guys in New York score an average of 7.15 out of 10, while gals come in at an average of 6.63. This difference suggests that fellas are flashing wider grins than the ladies. This also shows the trends that we see ourselves and our bodies.
