Garnar announced plans for the biggest parks improvement project in Broome County's history. This includes a totally remodeled building at Grippen Park that will have space for soccer, basketball, craft fairs and concerts, just to name a few.

Garnar also announced the return of ice at Grippen Park with the installation of an outdoor rink so that we all can skate outdoors in nature. They are also going to bring a state-of-the-art wiffle ball stadium to Broome County.

Wiffle Ball On The Way

Wiffle ball has gained popularity for the last several years and the stadium will be available for new leagues. They plan to renovate the BAGSAI softball complex. The complex will become a regional softball destination with turf fields, lights and amenities.

Garnar also announced a playground for our four-legged friends with the construction of a new dog park at Otsiningo North. Small changes will also be made with new picnic tables, grills and water fountains.

We can also see improvements with water fountains, new shelters, pathways and bathrooms. Pretty much every amenity that Broome County parks have to offer will be updated or replaced.
