Upstate New York Woman Impresses Celebrity Judges on The Voice
Upstate New York found itself in front of the eyes of the world on Tuesday night as Binghamton native, Alyssa Crosby, captivated audiences on NBC's The Voice during the second week of blind auditions.
The 32-year-old performer took to the stage with a stirring rendition of Alanis Morissette's "Hand In My Pocket," aiming to entice one of the celebrity judges to turn their chair and welcome her onto their team. And success came her way when one of them did just that!
Among the star-studded panel of judges for this season of The Voice are Dan + Shay, Chance the Rapper, John Legend, and the iconic Reba McEntire. While Alyssa's vocals garnered praise from John Legend and Dan + Shay, it was country music legend Reba McEntire who recognized her talent and hit the button to welcome Alyssa onto her team.
Known for her distinctive voice and soulfulness, Alyssa now finds herself under the wing of Reba on The Voice. Reba expressed admiration for Alyssa's unique sound and soulful delivery, revealing that she was captivated by the talent that Alyssa brought to the stage.
