Finally A Cool License Plate In New York State

The biggest road trip season is here in New York State and as you cruise east and west on the New York State Thruway, you may notice a sweet new license plate on the back of cars and trucks from the Empire State.

The last license plate that you have, the yellow and blue or gold and blue, may be peeling? It seems that the quality of license plates that we are given has gotten worse over the last decade or so. Those plates need to be replaced and there may be a new option when you go to the New York State DMV.

Have you seen the new plates? They are region specific and there are a variety of options.

According to reports, the new plates will be officially introduced this week across New York State. In addition to the new plate design, there will be other plates that are specific to people like Medal of Honor recipients as well.
