It’s Black Bear Time In Binghamton

While I was down in New Jersey, I was amused by the wanderings of a 3 year old black bear. He roamed from Bucks County, PA to Delran, New Jersey. Along the way he swam and entertained. Some people got too close and said they would just run if he chased them. That is when I thought I'd tell you that it is Be Bear Aware Month. They are going be all over the Southern Tier this spring, so get tips on how to deal with bear encounters here. And no, you can't outrun a bear.
