A craze called 'binge watching' has become very popular these days. So much that, I have become guilty of this pleasure.
Early last year, I decided to subscribe to one of the streaming movie/TV services. My primary reason was to watch movies from the comfort of a shack I call home. The first few weeks, I caught up on a lot of movies. Then I decided to watch an episode of a TV sitcom that obviously was popular having been on the air for 9 seasons. That TV show is The Office.

The premise of a fictional paper company (based out of Scranton, PA) being continually filmed (9 years?) for a documentary by a local PBS TV Station, was a concept I'd never seen before.

It took me a couple of episodes to get used to it, but I found myself becoming obsessed with the show. Even though the plots were somewhat wacky and at times unrealistic, I found myself laughing a lot, just as I had with every episode of 'M*A*S*H', although you can't really compare 'M*A*S*H' with any other, since in my opinion, it's the best TV show ever.

Anyway, I was watching  2, 3 or more episodes of  The Office in one sitting, every day of the week, and it took me about a month to see the entire 9 seasons. I'm sure others have done the same in less time, but that's over 200 shows in about 30 days! That, is what they call, binge watching.

I'm embarrassed to admit this, but over the course of 2014, I went through the entire 9 season series, 3 times. Over 600 episodes of The Office in a little less that 365 days.

You'll be happy to know that I haven't seen the show in the last 2 months, so maybe I've kicked the habit. Although I'm now watching Parks & Recreation which is using the same documentary premise. That series, I've been taking much slower to watch...for now.

Have you binge watched a show, and if so, what was it?
