Authorities are awaiting the results of toxicology tests following an autopsy on a Johnson City man who was found dead outside a Town of Dickinson home.

A passing motorist spotted the body of 41-year-old Jared Ewing of Carhart Avenue on the lawn of a Downs Avenue residence Tuesday morning.

Investigators say an autopsy conducted at Wilson Medical Center revealed no signs of trauma to the man's body, which was located next to the front porch of the house.

Captain Kathleen Newcomb of the Broome County Sheriff's Office said surveillance video showed Ewing inside a Glenwood Avenue convenience store earlier in the morning.

Ewing's body was located several blocks away from the business. Newcomb said there was evidence of drug use.

Investigators have found no signs of foul play in connection with his death. There was no indication that he had been robbed.
