An open house is being held at the Century Building on Baldwin Street from 6 to 7:30 p.m. November 20.

Planners are looking at using New York State Department of State Brownfield Opportunity grant money to explore the feasibility of creating a bicycle and pedestrian rail trail on the unused line that runs from the border between the City of Binghamton and Johnson City through the Village then over the Susquehanna River to the Town of Vestal.

Bergman Associates has been hired for the study and is hosting the open house.  Officials say they want to know what possible connections users would need, how people would use the trail and what amenities they would like to see.
